CREW Convention 2022 – Reflections and Favorite Parts

1.    My favorite part of the convention was seeing and hugging people whom I fell in love with during the pandemic but whom I had previously only met in two dimensions in a little Zoom box. There were many; however, I’ll specifically call out Tammy Pearce, Timnetra Burruss, and Lynn Smith, all of whom were influential on making me aware of a world I touch tangentially, but not daily. How cool was it to see these new friends in three dimensions and be able to give each other real hugs! There were plenty of other real hugs, too!  Tracy Treger, Paula Harris – you, too!
