Masquerade In The White City

Step into the grandeur of Chicago’s past at the iconic Chicago Athletic Association (CAA) Hotel for an enchanting evening of history, celebration, and philanthropy. Originally founded in 1890 by legends like A.G. Spalding, Cyrus McCormick, and Marshall Field, the CAA was designed by renowned architect Henry Ives Cobb to provide a unique setting for athletic, business, and social activities. With its Venetian Gothic style, this architectural marvel was completed just in time for the Columbian Exposition in 1893, becoming a distinguished landmark along the lakefront.

After closing its doors in 2007, the historic building was given new life in 2012 when AJ Capital Partners led the effort to meticulously redevelop it into the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Today, this 241-room boutique hotel, complete with grand ballrooms and vibrant food and beverage venues, preserves the rich legacy of the CAA while offering modern luxury in a setting steeped in history.

Join us in the historic White City Ballroom for CREW Chicago's annual "Last Call For Fall" event, where we will celebrate our CREW Chicago Scholars and the esteemed "Debbie Frank Legacy Fund/CREW Chicago/Goldie Scholar." The evening’s theme, "Masquerade in the White City," draws inspiration from the Gilded Age era of the building. Don your finest masquerade feathers and sparkles, or simply come as you are, and enjoy an evening of dancing, fundraising, and making memories in a venue that has hosted Chicago’s elite and Olympians alike.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the magic of the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel while supporting a great cause!
