Equity and Inclusion Committee

The CREW Chicago E&I Committee is created with the understanding that advancing the power and success of women in commercial real estate must include advancing the power and success of women in underrepresented groups by working to overcome the institutional biases and racism within the commercial real estate industry.  We are doing this work by focusing on programming, recruitment and retention, mentoring and sponsorship, internal training, industry assessment and community outreach.

Here are a few of our past events:

February 2024: Black History Month Celebration & Networking Soiree
CREW Chicago’s E&I Committee partnered with Chicago African Americans in Commercial Real Estate (CHI-AACRE) to host a networking soiree to celebrate Black History Month.

June 2024: LGBTQ+CREW Pride Month Celebration
The E&I Committee hosted CREW Chicago’s annual LGBTQIA+ Pride Month celebration. The event was a networking happy hour celebrating the LGBTQIA+ members of Chicago’s CRE industry.
